Week 5 Assignment 1, Part 1: Web Conference (10 points)
Due Week 5
During this class, you have the opportunity to participate in weekly web conferences. At the beginning of your course, the professor(s) will provide a list of scheduled web conferences and the URL to access the sessions.
You do not need to download or purchase additional software to participate in the conferences. However, a headset with microphone and web camera is preferred equipment. For further details, see the information sent to you by the professor(s) and/or Instructional Associate via email, discussion board, Virtual Office Hours, and/or announcements.
During this weeks web conference the internship plan discussion was the most beneficial for me. I had many questions that addressed my internship plan and Dr. Borel responded to many questions on directions. She mentioned how 38 skills must be covered and 1 hour for each skill is the only requirement, you can split them up however you would like. We were also told that our site supervisor could scan and sign the PISE and Dispostion Surveys, but interns must upload them to TK20 on our own. Overall the web conferences have provided tremendous support towards this course. Without the weekley web conferences, this class would have  been very difficult. I am very fortunate to have the support of Dr. Borel and classmates. Web conferences serve a positive purpose and should be considered at school districts to use as well.

Directions: After reflecting on the attended web conference or listening to the recording of the conference, post insights gained from the discussion.

Week 3 5397 Web Conference Review

Insights that I gained from this web conference were directions on assignments, and responsibilities. I was able to gain more knowledge on examples given by Dr. Borel on APA formatting. I had some questions on some of the APA corrections, and Dr. Borel was able to provide some examples for clarification. Site supervisor and field supervisor email questions were answered on when they would be getting them, and if they didn’t get them in time what we should do. Action Research template forms were discussed and we were told that we need to get focused on this assignment. We must get prepared on getting a head start on Week 4, because it cant be done in just one week. Again, the web conference discussions are great tools on helping with this course.
